With this in mind, we have trained all our staff to know, understand and respect native communitys and its people.

Percy Huanca is the founder and general manager of Amazon Trip Peru. He was born in Manu National Park into a Matsiguenka family and grew up there. He worked as a native guide in Manu before founding the company in 2018, and he still leads many of our Manu and Tambopata expeditions himself. He hires guides and crew from the native communities along Manu and Tambopata.
